Overview

DCF’s previous fund was corner-stoned by one of the world’s leading investors focused on sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles.

Through that experience DCF has strongly embraced a sustainability and ‘Responsible Investment’ philosophy and intend to integrate it further into the DNA of its core business, as well as promote it amongst all key stakeholders.

DCF lives out its approach to sustainable investment and ESG policies deeper than simply defining industries or companies of inclusion and exclusion. DCF as a group measure performance across three key metrics; economic returns; credit rating profile of the borrower; and an ESG and sustainability scorecard.

In line with our overarching investment philosophy, we believe consideration of ESG factors within DCF’s investment decision-making practices provides greater insight into areas of potential risk and opportunity that will impact the value, performance (risk and/or return) and reputation of the investments we undertake.

Our approach to active investment management is based on an investment process that fully integrates sustainability analysis into our decision-making and is focused on long-term performance.
